Terrible place. I'm only here cause my company put me here. I wouldn't stay if I had to pay for it. Basic requirement in the 21st century is a full Freeview TV. It was like being back in the 80s with BBC1&2 ITV, C4 &5. Breakfast was bad and the beds hard. Find somewhere else is my reccomendation.

Tough to bash this place because the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were there two nights. Our toilet wasn't operating properly, and the room had a dirty B.O. smell. They gave us another room which was slightly better. The carpets are stained, everything is worn, bathroom tiny. Good luck drying off and keeping your towel off the toilet. Our bathroom in Amsterdam was just as small but laid out better. As others have said this place needs updating, but I understand with everything so expensive in England it's tough to justify the expense. Pretty cheap to stay here, was relatively clean, but there is a local Bed and Breakfast we will go to next time that was full up this weekend. The English breakfast was yummy and for 8.99 you couldn't beat it.
Staff were wonderful. The waitress who served us dinner was lovely. The lady on the desk today early this morning found a walking stick for my son as he had hurt his foot on the journey to Epping. It was a sad reason for the journey my brothers funeral but your staff and comfortable accommodation made it better. Thank you.
