I have recently contacted HR Autos in interest of a vehicle, I am totally gob smacked on the experience I had over the phone. I asked if I could use a snap on diagnostic scanner to see if there are any faults he aggressively implied he would charge me the full price of the vehicle, as it would damage his vehicle. When a diagnostic scanner can only read faults on the vehicle. (there were probs underlying faults that he did not want me to see ) I asked if I can part exchange my vehicle he rudely said I drive a cheap car but can afford an expensive snap on tool. Also told me to do my homework on the vehicle, but I thought the whole point of this phone call was to ask questions, answers also get abit of information about the car but clearly not. He told me he doesnt want to waste his time and hanged up, stay well away from this company it seems suspicious with the other google reviews, HR Autos does not even deserve a star with their agressive and rude customer service, ibs
bought a mini one from these 7 weeks ago, the car has been smoking and running out of oil very quickly, took it to a mechanic, he has since told me the car has a leaky water pump and an oil leak around the cylinders. i was told this issue couldnt have happened within the time frame that i had purchased the car and it would have been sold with the oil leak, which we wasnt made aware of. since then i called Rob at HR autos and he called me a liar, he called the mechanic i took it to a liar and said he would not do anything about it (even though i have a 3 month warranty.) do not buy from these guys, they have sold a car not fit for purpose and have been caught out and will not do anything about it! i have contacted trading standards who are now looking into this matter, i do not want this to happen to anyone else!
Sales was easy but problems with the car after a couple of weeks. Breaks squeaking and wheel bearing, all I can understand as the car was 11 years old. Took it into my trusted garage where Ive had cars reliably serviced and looked after for years.They found an oil leak, looked under the car and checked the sump only to find it leaking oil (photo below). There was a crack in the sump that had been repaired with silicone sealant. The sump was missing 2 bolts and the car was a time bomb. I rang HR to complain, instead of offering to look into the issue they accused me of breaking it and fixing it myself with sealant or blamed the garage that uncovered the problem.They promised to call back after considering what to do, I sent the photos. No call back, no help offered, no courtesy and no accountability. The warranty they offered isnt worth a thing, not taking calls and Im yet to hear from them.I do not trust this garage one bit.
Just bought a 120d msport off these guys and all I can say is ........fantastic , I've bought a lot of cars and this has got to be one of the best buying experience I've had , no hard sell they just let the car sell itself and boy did it do that it's a cracker.i would recommend these guys to anyone and iam sure they will see me again top job thanks .
Nothing short of cowboys. Supposedly immaculate car, was a mess inside. Wrong mileage. Non existent communication policy. Car broke down. Costed me a grand, the whole exercise of buying and returning and the recovery. Terrible attitude, no regret expressed for a bad deal. False promises of service history record.Darren is right, never received the log book either
